We are seeking to employ caring, motivated, and experienced Therapeutic Adult Support Workers with relevant care qualifications and valuable life experience to join our expanding team.

Elevate Supported Living provides therapeutic, innovative, and creative support for adults who require assistance with mental health, learning disabilities, and complex needs. You may also be required to deliver personal care as part of your role.

The shift pattern is 5 days out of 7, including weekends.

Typical working hours include:

8:00am - 4:00pm 12:00pm - 8:00pm 8:00am - 8:00pm
Shifts are not rotational, but flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the service users we support.

Job Details



As a Therapeutic Adult Team Leader you will support service users through a range of direct and preventative work.

You will assist the management team in the effective management of Elevate which will include the on call responsibility to response to a request for advice, help or assistance within Elevate. This includes travelling to each property whilst on shift, doing spot checks and ensuring the property and service is being effectively managed.

You will check and ensure that staff allocation of duties, responsibilities, regular coordination and leading of shifts is being delivered to a high standard and you will cover any gaps on shift or provide a second person on duty, until relief staff can be secured.

You will assist in the guidance and support of staff on shift and support staff members on duty, including relief and agency workers, assisting them in their professional development and advising them in relation to Young people's practice care planning and home management.

About You



You must hold a full NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care and be willing to work towards further qualifications as required.

You must have a clear understanding of the protection of vulnerable adults and relevant safety issues and be able to support service users who have been abused.

You will be competent in managing complex and difficult behaviour patterns presented by service users and be able to demonstrate a range of interventions that are effective in behavioural management.

You will have a comprehensive knowledge of the development needs of service users and ensure that the physical, emotional and identified primary care needs of adults are met through the development and maintenance of a supportive and caring environment.

You will be a positive role model and mentor to new members of staff and complete appraisals and monthly supervisions.
