Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated
Orthodontic Therapist
to join our dental practice in London. You will work2 days per week
under thedirect supervision of a GDC-registered Orthodontic Specialist
, delivering high-quality orthodontic care in a supportive and professional clinical environment. Mnaily NHS treatmentKey Duties & Responsibilities
Provide orthodontic treatment
under prescription and supervision
of the Orthodontic Specialist Fit, adjust, and remove fixed orthodontic appliances Change archwires, place and remove attachments, power chains, elastics, and auxiliaries Take impressions / intra-oral scans, clinical photographs, and orthodontic records Provide oral hygiene instructions and appliance care advice to patients Monitor treatment progress and report findings to the supervising specialist Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records in line with GDC standards Ensure strict compliance with infection control, cross-infection, and HTM guidelines Work collaboratively with dentists, nurses, and reception staff to ensure smooth patient flowRequirements
GDC-registered
Orthodontic Therapist
(essential) Minimum1 year of clinical orthodontic therapy experience
preferred Confident working with fixed appliances and aligner systems Excellent communication and patient-management skills High standards of professionalism, ethics, and clinical care Ability to work efficiently under specialist supervisionJob Type: Part-time
Pay: 30.00-35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
Work Location: In person
