Job Description

The successful candidate will be required to support the therapy team in a variety of community settings in the provision of high quality interventions to meet the needs of patients requiring physiotherapy and occupational therapy in community services. They will provide holistic care for patients without direct supervision at times but accountable at all times to the responsible therapist. A proactive attitude to the promotion of an environment where health promotion and informed patient choice is encouraged, developed and supported to its maximum potential, within the available resources. An eagerness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge by undertaking relevant training by attending mandatory training, relevant training courses, use of eLearning and adhere to all trust policies and procedures is essential to this role.

The post will be based at Hundens lane Darlington with travelling to patients own home/care homes and clinics across the Darlington area as required. If you feel you have the right skills and knowledge then we would welcome an application.
