1:1 Learning Support Assistant

to support a child with

cerebral palsy

About the Role:

Provide

1:1 support

for a child with cerebral palsy, focusing on both learning and physical access to the curriculum Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to deliver a tailored support plan Assist with mobility, communication, and classroom engagement Encourage independence and confidence in a safe, supportive setting

? Ideal Candidate:

Experience supporting children with

physical disabilities or complex medical needs

(experience with cerebral palsy is highly desirable) A calm, patient, and empathetic approach Excellent communication and teamwork skills A commitment to inclusive education and child-centred support Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Moving & Handling training) are a plus
