Neu Living provides specialist neuro and mental health care and rehabilitation in Sheffield. We support adults with complex neurological and mental health needs, helping them regain independence, develop skills, and enjoy meaningful, fulfilling lives.

We are seeking a

vibrant, confident, and energetic Therapy Assistant / Activities Coordinator

to join our team. This unique combined role focuses on

therapeutically meaningful activities

that actively support residents' rehabilitation goals, alongside organising engaging experiences both inside and outside the home.

The Role



As Therapy Assistant / Activities Coordinator, you will:

Work closely with the multidisciplinary team, particularly occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and clinical care staff, to deliver

activities that support residents' therapeutic and rehabilitation goals

. Plan and run a range of

therapeutically meaningful activities

, including cognitive, physical, social, and emotional stimulation. Organise and supervise

community trips and outings

using our minibus to enrich residents' social and experiential learning.

A full UK driver's license is essential.

Prepare and maintain activity spaces to ensure safe, positive, and engaging experiences for residents. Maintain accurate records of participation, outcomes, and progress linked to residents' care plans. Engage residents individually or in groups, adapting activities to their preferences, abilities, and rehabilitation goals.

About You



We are looking for someone who is:

Energetic, confident, and enthusiastic, with a passion for supporting rehabilitation through meaningful activities. Experienced in activities, therapy support, or a similar role in a care or rehabilitation setting (transferable skills welcome). A team player who collaborates effectively with the MDT but can work independently when needed. Kind, patient, and compassionate, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Confident driving a minibus and able to transport residents safely on outings. Committed to helping residents achieve goals, maintain independence, and enjoy life to the fullest. Eligible to work in the UK.
