Position Overview

The Therapy Development Manager (United Kingdom) supports the development of the Reducer therapy across the UK in a non-reimbursed environment driven by COSIRA II, private-sector opportunities, and structured mobilization of referral networks.

This is a field-based role working with interventional cardiologists, general cardiologists, GPs, and referring clinicians. The TDM partners closely with implanting ICs to activate referral networks and ensure eligible patients enter appropriate pathways in line with COSIRA II processes.

This role plays a critical part in supporting the successful execution of COSIRA II, which is essential for both the company's broader regulatory strategy - including the future FDA approval pathway - and for preparing the UK market for the transition back to national reimbursement.

Essential Job Functions

Build strong relationships with interventional cardiologists and collaborate with them to engage general cardiologists, GPs, and referring clinicians. Deliver education and outreach activities in partnership with Medical Education, including referrer visits, in-clinic sessions, network meetings, and conference participation. Support implanting physicians in developing and organizing their local patient pathway, ensuring smooth coordination between ICs, GPs, and general cardiologists for effective patient identification. Act as the technical expert during Reducer procedures, providing in-lab case support to implanting physicians. Train and coach implanting physicians on procedural techniques, workflow, and best practices, in collaboration with Medical Education. Support COSIRA II study pathways, including patient identification, eligibility clarification, logistics, and coordination with research teams and investigators. Deliver consistent education on patient eligibility, referral timing, and treatment workflow, using Medical Education-approved content. Identify UK-specific operational or educational gaps and propose scalable solutions. Pilot initiatives in the UK, document insights, and share best practices with France and international teams. Track referral activity and funnel KPIs, ensuring regular communication with the Associate Director TD. Collaborate with Marketing, Training & Education, and Medical Affairs for coordinated field execution. Support UK pathway readiness in anticipation of future reimbursement following clinical trial data publication.

Requirements

Minimum 6+ years of experience in MedTech clinical roles, therapy development or market development. Good understanding of the UK healthcare system, including NHS, ICS, and Trust structures, as well as private-sector networks. Proven ability to activate indirect users/referrers such as general cardiologists, GPs, and non-implanting clinicians. Background in interventional cardiology is a must, general cardiology exposure is strongly desired. Comfortable working in a trial-driven, non-reimbursed environment. Excellent communication and educational skills with the ability to influence without authority. High level of autonomy, organization, and execution discipline. Native-level English required. High willingness to travel across the UK.

Required Skills:

Business Development, Cardiology, Clinical Support
