WHAT TO EXPECT

Are you a technically curious Thermal Engineer who is looking to continue their growth, whilst seeing how your delivery adds value to the end product?

In this exciting role, you will be focusing on integration, internal stakeholder management and the delivery of Thermal Attribute and Thermal Efficiency for all vehicle programmes.

As this is a vital and diverse position, you will have the ability to see the concept to the physical production and experience the engineering you have delivered.

The successful candidate will gain a specialism in a particular thermal function but have the opportunity to grow into other areas within the domain.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Ensure that their functional delivery adds value to the end product, while ensuring the attribute and customer values are maintained.

Thermal design tools cover CAE (1D and 3D), Climatic wind tunnel and on-track assessments covering a large scope of thermal-related challenges.

Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of the Front End Airflow System, Thermal Performance, Thermal Energy Management Control strategy, Active Airflow Devices, 0D and 1D CAE integration and Thermal Energy R&D.

WHAT YOU\'LL NEED

A proven track record in either Thermal Management, energy management, electrification, Powertrain cooling or climate control

Hands on experience with thermal vehicle validation, as well as k nowledge of vehicle thermal systems and their functions and interactions

Experience of testing in climatic, aerodynamic or acoustic wind tunnels, as well as EV system development experience

Knowledge of customer level trades when developing thermal control strategies
