Job Specification
Forwessun supports the electronics industry worldwide and is currently looking to increase its manufacturing support roles.
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Thermal Simulation Software Developer to design and develop a bespoke thermal analysis tool that plays a critical role in evaluating thermal performance and conformity across complex systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a custom thermal simulation software tool tailored to internal engineering requirements.
Define and model environmental parameters such as ambient temperature, altitude and humidity, in collaboration with thermodynamic engineers.
Simulate heat generation and distribution within test fixtures, as well as the performance of proposed cooling systems.
Evaluate the combined system for thermal compliance, and iterate simulations to achieve conformity.
Integrate real-world thermal measurement data with simulation outputs to enhance accuracy and reliability.
Continuously refine the simulation model based on testing feedback and new thermal constraints.
Deliver simulation results in a clear, graphical format that is accessible and meaningful for senior management and decision-makers.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Solid background in thermal systems analysis, heat transfer, and thermodynamics. Proven experience in developing or working with thermal and fluid dynamic simulation tools.
Proficiency with one or more of the following tools:
Strong programming or scripting ability (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or similar).
Experience with data visualization and producing executive-level graphical reports.
Ability to iterate simulations based on real-time measurement comparisons and testing results.
Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across engineering and non-technical teams.
This role offers a unique opportunity to build a powerful simulation tool from scratch, influence thermal design decisions, and ensure robust system performance through precise and iterative modeling.
