Join our nursery team as a Deputy Manager.

At Little Loco's Day Nursery we are a homely nursery with traditional values. We are dedicated to providing quality childcare and early education for children from 0- 5 years. We have created a nurturing and safe environment for our children to thrive. We are looking for a caring, experienced and passionate deputy manager to join our team.

About the Role:

You will be expected to support and oversee the whole team throughout their day, ensuring high standards of care and aiding the nursery in completing their aims and objectives. Assist the manager in the organisation and management of the nursery and deputise them as and when required. You will be expected to ensure compliance with all our policies and procedures and build strong relationships with parents and carers.

What we're looking for:

Demonstrable experience of working as a third in charge role in a nursery.

Capable of leading a strong team whilst ensuring good practice at all times.

The ability to communicate to a high standard with parents, local authorities and staff.

Demonstrable experience of working well within a team.

Capable of bringing new ideas and opportunities to the nursery.

Qualifications

NNEB

Early Years Workforce or NVQ

Level 3 and above childcare Diploma

Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents

Management and leadership abilities to support the Nursery Manager

Successful applicants must be able to provide satisfactory references and a clear enhanced DBS check.
