Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Third in Charge/Room Leader to join our team at Paper Moon Nursery, Compton Acres, West Bridgford. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our nurseries while fostering a nurturing environment for children. You will play a key role in upholding our mission of providing high-quality childcare.

There is potential to be promoted to Deputy to cover MAT leave

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the nursery during assigned shifts. Lead and support staff to ensure high standards of care and education. Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards. Develop and implement engaging activities for children. Mentor and train new staff members. Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for children. Communicate effectively with team members and management.

Qualifications

Proven experience in management or leadership roles within childcare settings. Strong background in early childhood education or related fields. Excellent communication skills to engage with parents, staff, and children. Relevant qualifications in childcare or nursery experience preferred. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Passion for nurturing children's development and well-being.
