We are looking for a
Third-Party Manufacturing Planner
with experience willing to work in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling
Develop and maintain production plans for third-party manufacturers based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
Monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delays or disruptions.
Use agile planning to reduce waste and improve responsiveness.
Leverage ERP systems (SAP, CRM) and analytics to monitor KPIs like on-time delivery, yield rates, and cost per unit.
Act as the central point of contact for information flow between internal stakeholders and external partners.
Adapt plans to accommodate changing market demands, seasonal fluctuations, or new product launches.
Vendor Coordination & Collaboration
Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and external manufacturing partners.
Communicate production requirements, timelines, and quality expectations clearly and consistently.
Build strong, transparent relationships with third-party manufacturers.
Inventory & Materials Management
Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging components.
Track inventory levels at 3PM sites and recommend replenishment strategies.
Balance inventory levels across multiple sites to avoid stockouts or overproduction.
Performance Monitoring
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, production efficiency, and quality compliance.
Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions with vendors.
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate records of production plans, purchase orders, and shipment schedules.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and inventory control.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
