Position: Ticketing Customer Service Assistant



Department: Ticketing



Report to: Head of Ticketing and Supporter Experience



Location: Ticket Office, Tynecastle Park, Gorgie Road, Edinburgh, EH11 2NL



Salary: Living Wage plus excellent staff benefits.



Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, 5/7 days per week. Ticket Office is normally open Tuesday to Saturday each week. Flexibility is required as opening hours may change due to fixture schedule. Home matchday working will be required.



Closing date: 10th August 2025 - Close of play



We have an exciting opportunity for a Ticketing Customer Service Assistant to join our Ticketing Team, on a full-time basis. If you have some previous customer service experience within a similar environment and have a passion for delivering excellent service to our supporters - we would love to hear from you.

Heart of Midlothian is a Scottish Premiership Football Club and an Edinburgh institution with a proud heritage dating back to 1874. The remarkable transformation that our stadium and Clubstore has undergone in recent years has contributed to the Club's major commercial success in Scottish football. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a new challenge. Full training on the use of our Ticketing system and processes will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide excellent customer service, in-person, on the telephone and online to our supporters, ensuring ticket sales and enquiries are handled professionally. Processing transactions efficiently and accurately through the Ticketmaster system. Handle customer payments by cash and card payments, as per the Clubs cash handling policy. Collaborate with the Ticketing Team to meet sales targets. Any other duties as requested by the Head of Ticketing and Supporter Experience or Ticket Office Manager.

Essential Experience, Skills & Requirements:



Previous customer service experience in a similar environment. Ability to work under pressure and within a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and passion for providing excellent customer service. Confident IT user and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Flexibility with weekly working patterns due to the nature of the business. Able to evidence the Legal Right to Work in the UK.
