Retail Assistant

The Bure Valley Railway is a major tourist attraction within Norfolk and welcomes over 100,000 visitors a year. We are looking for friendly and self-motivated staff member to join the team at our Wroxham Station in our shop/ticket office.

Positions: Part time working Fridays and Saturdays with possibility of additional hours.

Seasonal/Lone Working

Key Duties

As a key holder you will be required to open and close station by performing duties such as placing and removing signage, opening and closing tills, unlocking and securing carpark and shop Ticket sales Ensure stock displays are well presented with the appropriate quantity of stock and liaising with the Aylsham Station Keeping the shop and platform clean and tidy Daily cleaning of toilets

Requirements

Good communication skills Experience of a retail environment desirable but not essential Must be able to work on your own as well as part of a team Must be Flexible Good organizational skills, ability to multi task and excellent time management Ability to work under pressure Accuracy and attention to detail Be customer focused - excellent customer service/care skills
