HFL Education is looking for a Tier 3 Professional Services Engineer to join our growing Technology in Schools team. This is a hybrid role combining technical project delivery, pre-sales consultancy, and technical service management - ideal for someone who thrives on variety, responsibility, and continuous learning.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Strong hands-on experience with LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and network segmentation
Expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and Windows Server environments
Solid understanding of cloud technologies, virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V), and backup/recovery solutions
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a passion for new technologies
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Lead and deliver IT infrastructure projects across schools and educational settings
Support the sales team with technical pre-sales input and solution design
Act as a senior technical escalation point for the service desk and wider team
Conduct site surveys, scope solutions, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Mentor the wider team and contribute to the development of technical standards
Maintain accurate technical documentation and support internal systems when required
