The successful candidate will be responsible for executing precise welding tasks, utilising hand and power tools, and contributing to the realisation of high-quality metalwork projects. Duties



Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on diverse materials, specialising in welding standards. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal components. Conduct mechanical assembly of fabricated parts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to guide fabrication and assembly processes. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed at all times. Assist in the maintenance and calibration of tools and equipment used in fabrication tasks. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of quality.

Requirements



Proven experience in TIG welding, with a strong understanding of welding standards. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment such as shears, presses, or grinders. Knowledge of sheet metal work, including cutting, bending, and assembling components. Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately. Experience in assembly processes within a manufacturing or fabrication environment is desirable. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure precision in all tasks. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to fabrication work. This role offers an engaging environment where craftsmanship and technical skills are highly valued. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.79-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
