TIG / MIG Welder
to join our experienced finishing team.About the Role:
You will be working within a busy and varied manufacturing environment, producing precision-engineered components for a range of industries. After an initial period on day shift, you will transition to a 2-shift rotation as part of our operational schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Performing high-quality TIG and MIG welding across a variety of materials Reading, interpreting, and working from engineering drawings without assistance Working with multiple material types and thicknesses, including: + 0.9mm - 5mm mild steel
+ 1mm - 5mm aluminium
Understanding and accurately applying weld symbols Ensuring work is completed to required quality standards and within allocated timescales Maintaining a clean and safe working area
What We're Looking For
Minimum 12 months' welding experience in a sheet metal or similar fabrication environment Confident and skilled in both TIG and MIG welding Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings confidently Strong understanding of weld symbols * A reliable, proactive individual with good attention to detail
