The E-commerce Account Management (AM) team owns merchant success on TikTok Shop (TTS) across growth, category development, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. You will support merchants through all stages of their lifecycle on the platform.
Joining the industry team will provide a holistic view of how to grow and scale mid-to-big-size merchants on TikTok Shop while working closely with creators and internal stakeholders. Within Home & Living, we work with key merchants offering products across categories such as Toys, Furniture, Textiles, Kitchenware, Home Improvement, and more.
- Own one of the Home & Living categories, driving sales growth, seller management, and category initiatives. Build category strategy, define priorities, and manage performance.
- Develop the category by improving policies, product selection, and the overall ecosystem. Research trends, market themes, and competitors to provide insights and recommendations on key promotions, products, and brands. Become the expert and point of reference for the category within the team.
- Partner with the BD team to support onboarding of key merchants. Identify potential partners, advise on onboarding solutions (business models, creator affiliation, merchant education), and follow up on progress.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to improve your category and the broader TikTok Shop business.
- Collaborate with Creator and Agency teams to enable sellers to produce strong content that attracts new customers.
- Become an expert user of tools for reporting, budget control, promotional spend, and content management.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or Seller/User Acquisition or equivalent fields.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills; logical thinking and analytical capability (data manipulation, Excel).
- Customer-focused mindset and experience in client-facing roles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and under pressure; flexible, collaborative, entrepreneurial, and self-driven.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to make fast decisions; effective and creative problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above; e-commerce internship or industry experience desirable.
- Strong understanding of content platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.).
- Experience working with e-commerce platforms and knowledge of marketplace dynamics.
- Data-driven, strong execution, clear communication, good collaboration, and solid time management.
