Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tiler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laying tiles for various surfaces, including floors, walls, and countertops. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret design specifications accurately. The Tiler will be responsible for ensuring that all installations meet quality standards and are completed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas using hand tools and power tools. Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, smoothing, and applying adhesives as necessary. Lay tiles in accordance with design plans, ensuring proper alignment and spacing. Grout tiles and ensure a clean finish by removing excess grout from the surface. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, to ensure seamless integration of tile work with other construction elements. Read and interpret schematics to accurately follow design specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Skills

Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to tile setting. Experience in painting and finishing work is advantageous. Strong understanding of carpentry principles is beneficial for integrated projects. Ability to build structures or supports as needed for tile installation. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow schematics accurately. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Must have valid CSCS card Must have driving license Must be willing to follow Health and Safety procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 17.00-23.00 per hour
