Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ceramic Tiler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing various types of tiles, including ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone. As a Tiler, you will be responsible for ensuring that all tile installations are completed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas accurately. Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, smoothing, and applying adhesives as necessary. Install tiles in accordance with design specifications, ensuring proper alignment and spacing. Grout and seal tiles once installation is complete to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure smooth workflow and project completion. Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while working on-site.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Tiler or similar role is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of different types of tiles and installation techniques. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A valid driver's licence is preferred but not essential.
