We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Till Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service at the till, ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience for our customers. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly disposition to create a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
Operate the till efficiently and accurately, processing customer transactions
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting with their inquiries
Communicate effectively with customers, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when necessary
Upsell products and services to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
Maintain an organised and tidy work area, ensuring the till is stocked and ready for use
Handle card transactions with accuracy, performing basic maths calculations as required
Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless operation during busy periods
Experience
Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is essential
Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are advantageous
Demonstrated time management skills to handle peak hours efficiently
Ability to sell products effectively while maintaining a positive customer interaction
Organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
