We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Till Staff to join our team. As a vital part of our customer service experience, you will be responsible for managing transactions, assisting customers, and ensuring a smooth operation at the till. Your role will involve engaging with customers, providing excellent service, and contributing to the overall success of our store.
Duties
Operate the till efficiently and accurately to process customer transactions.
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs.
Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Maintain an organised and tidy checkout area.
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision.
Assist with merchandising tasks, ensuring products are displayed attractively.
Communicate effectively with customers and team members to foster a positive environment.
Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during peak hours.
Uphold phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries via phone.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities (especially in Spanish) are highly desirable.
Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
Excellent organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace.
Experience in merchandising is a plus.
Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is advantageous but not essential.
