As we continue to grow, we're looking for a committed, motivated and enthusiastic Timber Frame Estimator / Commercial Office Assistant to join our dynamic team:
The Role
As a Timber Frame Estimator / Commercial office assistant, we are looking for someone who is computer literate with experience on Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets would be desirable / beneficial whilst understanding planning and construction drawings. The individual will ideally have experience with design software for timber-frame/floors and/or trusses. You will play a key role in supporting our commercial department by preparing accurate estimates for timber frame projects, liaising with industry professionals to provide a cost-effective estimation and design solutions for our projects.
Key Responsibilities
Understand general engineering of timber frame systems to review architectural plans and specifications to ensure accurate take-offs.
Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates and quotations.
Liaise with industry professionals and internal departments such as the Buyer and Business Development Manager.
Update and maintain estimate enquiry logs and sale reports.
Assist Commercial department in drafting of contracts, erector tenders and orders.
The individual
Have keen interest in building techniques and sustainability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications particularly Excel. and Word.
Experience with AutoCAD applications is desirable but not essential.
Have keen interest in building techniques and sustainability.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Package
Salary: dependent on experience + benefits depending on experience.
20 days holiday plus statutory holidays.

Working hours & remuneration package
Working hours - Typically 40 hours per week however flexibility will be required from time to time.
Full time with support for further professional development if required.
