Based in a workshop in Mid-Wales, Broadaxe Timber Frames offers customised timber frame packages tailored for self-builders. The team is dedicated to delivering and assembling these packages nationwide, ensuring quality and satisfaction for every project.

Role Description

This is a hybrid role for a Timber Frame Estimator, located in Presteigne, with the flexibility for working remotely. The Timber Frame Estimator will manage the creation of accurate cost estimates for timber frame projects, analyse construction plans, source materials, and work closely with clients and the internal team to ensure that project proposals align with both client expectations and company standards. Additional tasks include preparing quotes, providing support for pricing inquiries, and assisting with project documentation.

Qualifications

Experience in construction cost estimation, budgeting, and financial planning Strong skills in reading and analysing architectural drawings and technical documents Knowledge of timber frame construction, materials sourcing, and sustainable building standards Proficiency in relevant software for estimation and project management Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and team collaboration Strong organisational and time management abilities, with keen attention to detail Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment Previous experience in timber frame or sustainable construction is a plus A degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is beneficial Commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly building practices

Pay: 28,000.00-40,000.00 per year
