Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Timber Stacker Operator to join our manufactoring team at SDL Sawmill, Crumlin. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient handling of all timber materials, ensuring that products are stacked, stored, and prepared for shipping with precision. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a some understanding of manufacturing operations, however we do provide full training.

Responsibilities

Manual stacking of all timber products Stack products in designated areas, ensuring proper organisation and accessibility. Maintain a clean and organised work environment Adhering to all safety protocols at all times. Perform regular inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve efficiency in the manufacturing environment Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Support in other areas of the process as and when required

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues. Strong skills in materials handling, including loading and unloading goods efficiently. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly throughout the shift. A proactive attitude towards teamwork and problem-solving is essential. Regular housekeeping Additional hours are available
