We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing a variety of wooden and other materials to high standards of quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in carpentry and joinery to contribute to diverse projects, including roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and construction painting. Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble bespoke joinery components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment.
Install timber/upvc windows/doors etc , on-site in accordance with project specifications.
Assist with all tasks, inc loading/unloading general assisting of day to day works
Carry out heavy lifting of materials safely to support construction activities.
Perform all tasks as required within project scope.
Read technical drawings and jobsheets to ensure precise execution of tasks.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate effectively with team members and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
Skills
Proven experience in carpentry, joinery and general building
Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and measuring devices.
Competence in operating power tools safely and efficiently.
Knowledge of roofing techniques, masonry, plumbing systems, electrical installations, and construction painting is desirable.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights when necessary.
Strong understanding of technical drawings and blueprints.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
