Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and skilled Time Served Plaster to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in plastering, with a strong background in various related trades such as masonry, drywall, stucco, and renovation projects. This role involves applying plaster to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes, and working efficiently on diverse construction sites. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to both new construction and restoration projects, utilizing a wide range of skills including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and heavy equipment operation.

Responsibilities



Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces with precision to achieve smooth finishes. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and repairing as needed before plaster application. Mix and match plaster materials to meet project specifications and color requirements. Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively during application processes. Install rebar, metal studs, or framing components as required for structural support. Perform related tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, tile laying, and stucco work to complete projects. Read blueprints and schematics accurately to follow project plans and specifications. Assist in construction estimating and planning for renovation or new build projects. Collaborate with other trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, and restoration teams to ensure project success. Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety standards on-site.

Requirements



Proven experience as a plasterer with a strong portfolio of completed projects; apprenticeship or journeyman certification preferred. Pebble Dashing Rendering Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and scaffolding setup. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus. Experience in masonry, renovation work, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, welding, roofing, tile laying, caulking, trim carpentry, restoration projects is desirable. Knowledge of schematics related to construction systems is advantageous. Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions on diverse job sites. This role requires a dedicated professional committed to quality craftsmanship and safety standards in all aspects of plastering and related trades.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 16.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
