Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to operate a 1.5-ton tipper truck. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering materials to various sites, collecting and removing rubbish from sites, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the unit and yard area. Additionally, the role includes keeping a log of tools and equipment and their whereabouts.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a 1.5-ton tipper truck safely and efficiently. Deliver materials to various construction sites as required. Collect and remove rubbish and debris from job sites. Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized unit and yard area. Keep an accurate log of tools, equipment, and their locations. Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues. Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies. Assist with general site duties as required.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a driver, preferably in the construction industry. Valid UK driving licence (Category B minimum, Category C1 preferred). Experience operating a tipper truck. Good understanding of construction materials and waste disposal processes. Ability to maintain records and keep an organized log of tools and equipment. Physical stamina for loading/unloading materials as required. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: 12.21-14.50 per hour
