Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tyres for various vehicles. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As a Tire Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles.

Responsibilities

Inspect, repair, and replace tyres on a variety of vehicles including cars, vans Perform wheel alignments and balancing to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Conduct thorough safety checks on tyres and related components. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining tyre options and maintenance recommendations. Keep the workshop clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of tyres and related equipment.

Experience

Previous experience as a Tire Technician or in a similar automotive role is preferred but not essential. Strong mechanical skills with the ability to operate tyre changing equipment safely. Knowledge of different types of tyres and their applications is an advantage. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A valid driver's licence is required; Vehicle Maintenance would be beneficial.
