About Us:

PJSS Development offers fun, energetic, and structured football (soccer) classes for toddlers aged 18 months to 5 years. Our mission is to introduce young children to the joy of movement and teamwork through football-based play.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and patient coach to lead toddler football classes. This role involves delivering age-appropriate football sessions that focus on motor skills, coordination, and social development--while making sure every child is having fun in a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead engaging and fun football sessions for children aged 18 months to 5 years. Adapt coaching styles to suit the developmental stage of each age group. Use play-based learning techniques to teach basic football skills. Create a positive and safe atmosphere where toddlers feel confident to participate. Communicate clearly with parents and caregivers before and after classes. Set up and pack away all equipment before and after each session. Ensure safety standards are maintained at all times. Keep attendance records and provide feedback when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

Essential:

Experience working with young children in a coaching, teaching, or childcare setting. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain before starting). Enthusiastic, energetic, and confident leading groups. Reliable, punctual, and organized. Excellent communication skills, especially with children and parents. Passion for early childhood development and sports.
Desirable:

Coaching certification (e.g., FA Level 1 or equivalent). Pediatric First Aid certification. Knowledge of child safeguarding best practices.
