Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Room Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children aged2 to 3 years. The Toddler Room Leader will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate activities and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of Toddler Room-aged children. Manage activities and maintain a safe, clean, and organised learning environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. Lead group activities that promote teamwork, sharing, and social skills among children. Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress and identifying areas for improvement. Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive educational experience for all students. Drive initiatives that promote inclusivity and respect for diversity within the classroom setting.

Skills

Strong leadership abilities to guide children in their learning journey. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Experience in childcare or early childhood education settings is highly desirable. Ability to manage classroom dynamics while ensuring each child receives individual attention as needed. A nurturing approach that encourages children's emotional well-being and self-esteem. Knowledge of nursery rhymes, songs, and activities suitable for preschool-aged children is beneficial. A commitment to ongoing professional development in early childhood education practices.
