Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Room Leader to join our team at The Pickford Nursery. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of care and education for the children. Your leadership will help create a positive and engaging atmosphere for both staff and children.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage daily nursery operations during your shift.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and nursery policies.
Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to promote professional development.
Foster a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for children.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and wellbeing.
Plan and implement engaging activities that support early childhood development.
Monitor children's safety and wellbeing at all times.
Requirements
Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
Relevant qualifications in childcare or early years education are preferred.

This is a full time position, 42.5 hours a week, between the hours of 8:00am-6:00pm, Monday to Friday all year through.
(Your shifts would alternate between 8.00am to 5.30pm and 8.30am to 6.00pm)
