to join our operations team. This role involves driving and operating vacuum tankers, servicing portable toilets and welfare units, and ensuring waste is collected, transported, and disposed of in line with environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle Operation
: Safely drive and operate vacuum tankers/pump trucks; complete pre- and post-trip inspections.
Waste Collection
: Pump out waste from portable toilets, welfare units, and septic tanks; ensure hoses and fittings are secure.
Waste Disposal
: Transport waste to approved facilities; comply with environmental and legal standards.
Cleaning & Servicing
: Clean and restock portable toilets with supplies (toilet paper, sanitizer, chemicals).
Safety & Compliance
: Wear PPE, follow health and safety guidelines, and maintain accurate service records.
Customer Interaction
: Communicate with site managers, handle service requests, and resolve minor issues on-site.
Maintenance
: Report mechanical issues and carry out minor repairs to hoses and fittings.
Documentation
: Complete service sheets, delivery notes, and compliance paperwork.
What We're Looking For
Valid driving licence (HGV preferred).
Experience operating vacuum tankers or similar vehicles (training provided if required).
Strong commitment to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Good communication skills and customer service focus.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
