Overview

DGS Hardware is a busy manufacturing site producing complex, assembled components to supply the window industry. This role will be responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of all production tooling, including the manufacture of new, replacement and tooling spares as required.

Duties to Include

Maintain and repair a variety of existing press tools to ensure production requirements are satisfied. Ongoing monitoring of tooling condition to ensure optimum performance and quality standards are maintained. Improve and develop existing tooling to ensure maximum continuous improvement. Assist in the development of new tooling projects. Maintain good communication with the press setters to understand any areas of concern and support in any areas as required relating to tooling issues. Provide support to all manufacturing areas within the business. Assist with any general maintenance of plant and equipment.

Skills

Experience in a similar role would be preferred. Experience in a factory environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
