We are seeking an experienced TOOLMAKER / CNC MILLER to join the highly experienced team of a well establish black country contract toolroom producing complex production tooling for a very varied and technically demanding customer base.
Working in a state of the art toolroom, on a 6-2, 2-10 shift pattern, a starting rate in the region of 18-22/hr is offered depending on experience plus overtime, typically 10 hrs per week and genuine opportunities for long term personal development and job security.
The successful TOOLMAKER / CNC MILLER will find themselves involved in:
New tool manufacture
Off line programming of modern multi axis machining centres
Working from CAD models to tight tolerances
Setting up and running jobs on the machining centres
Running the tool through build and finishing stages
This TOOLMAKER / CNC MILLER opportunity will ideally suit an experienced Toolmaker who has maybe already worked on benching and manual machining and has developed their skills into CNC machining to the extent that they have been programming off line. Training will be given with regard to specific machinery and software.
