Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tool Maker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical machining skills and knowledge, experience operating an XYZ CNC Lathe preferable, operating various manual grinding machines, cylindrical, surface, universal grinder, manual mill, lathe and various other workshop machines.

Duties

Manufacture metallic blanks, surface grinding and preparation for gauge blanks Manufacture tooling items to support our EDM department. Operate XYZ cnc lathe, milling machines and grinders Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Conduct regular maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with engineers and production staff to meet requirements. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Tool Maker or similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate XYZ lathe and grinders effectively. Ability to meet our fast paced demanding schedule is essential, hours of work and changing demand require commitment to meet urgent demands as they arise. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.50-15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37 - 50 per week
