Overview

We are seeking a skilled Toolroom Jig Borer to join our Toolroom on a permanent basis. This position is full time but we will consider part time. The successful applicant will be confident working to close tolerances and be able to read engineering drawings, producing precision components with accuracy and consistency.

Duties

Operate jig boring machines to produce precise components according to engineering specifications. Experience with a Newall Jig Borer is desirable.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating jig boring machines in a Toolroom environment. Recognised Engineering qualifications. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
