Main Purpose of Role:
To ensure that the correct production tools are put out in accordance to the Blowmould programme, in a ready for production condition
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure all tools and ancillary equipment is laid out ready for production in accordance to the Blowmould programme, in a ready for production condition.
Liaising on a daily basis with Manager, Shift supervisor, Planning and Toolroom manager to ensure smooth running of the Blowmould department
Carry out regular stock control checks and reorder as and when necessary through the purchasing department.
Ensure safe working practises are carried out when cleaning/polishing ancillary equipment.
Ensure safe working practise when lifting/moving moulds.
Carry out logo changes in accordance to the Blowmould programme.
Carry out neck changes in accordance to the Blowmould programme.
To asses tooling condition coming back from production ready for storage.
To cover colleagues during absence periods.
Ensure work area is clean, tidy and safe during and at the end of shift
Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to: health and safety, quality and environment management
Any other reasonable tasks requested by management.

Person Specification:
A sound mechanical aptitude

Ability to undertake duties in every respect as laid out in the job description (further to training if required)
Proven experience in a production environment.
Desirable: Knowledge of the M & H computer system (parts search, set up sheets and general computer skills).
Desirable: Previous experience in a development role and/or technical position
