Ogre Engineering Ltd. provides hydraulic and mechanical services to the oil industry, specializing in the manufacture of Down Hole Tool workshop equipment such as HT Torque systems, tubular handling, and force & pressure testing equipment. We prioritize user safety and comfort, ensuring all new equipment is fully tested, certified, and accompanied by comprehensive maintenance and operation manuals. Additionally, we provide training programs with competency certification upon completion. Our services include full-service inspection, calibration, and on-call support to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Torque / Bucking Unit Technician located in the Greater Aberdeen Area, Uk, Europe and other global locations.

The Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining of fully rotational and stroking torque Units, conducting scheduled servicing and calibration, and ensuring equipment performance to standard. Daily tasks include inspecting equipment, troubleshooting and resolving operational issues, performing routine maintenance, and documenting all activities. The role also involves collaborating with other team members to ensure safety and efficiency in operations.

Qualifications

Experience operating and maintaining torque and bucking units, tubular handling, and force & pressure testing equipment Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems Proficiency in conducting scheduled servicing, inspections, and calibration Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent documentation and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Prior experience in the oil industry is a must. Relevant technical certifications or training will also be required.

Pay: 36,000.00-46,000.00 per year
