On behalf of our client, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Torque Turn/Computer Supervisor to lead and coordinate operations within an industrial and construction environment, specifically focusing on oil rig activities, heavy equipment operation, pipeline projects, and related electrical tasks.
As a Supervisor, you will oversee daily site activities, ensure safety compliance, and manage a team of skilled workers to deliver high-quality results efficiently. Duties
Responsible for ensuring that all torque turn equipment is returned to the facility highlighting any faults
Responsible to ensure that all End of Well (Job) Torque Turn data is recorded, reviewed and approved
Service and maintenance of TT Computer, Torque Turn Sub, Torque Gauge, Make/ Break Unit, Transducers and any other instruments and equipment associated with calibration and torque control.
Technical support for TT Computer, Torque Turn Sub, Torque Gauge, Make/Break Unit, Transducer and any other instruments associated with calibration and torque control.
Maintenance and repair of tools and equipment in line with established SOP's.
Maintenance of control, traceability, repair and calibration of assessment measuring tools and those related to Torque Control within the workshop.
Maintenance of accurate records for all reports and certificates pertaining to calibration
Performing preventive and corrective maintenance of test apparatus and peripheral equipment.
Packing and delivering equipment at the warehouse according to procedures for TT Computer, Torque Turn Sub, Torque Gauge, Make/Break Unit, Transfer and any other instruments associated with calibration and torque control.
EX-specifications/materials control.
Managing of workload to achieve production schedules and ensure completion within timeframe.
Coordinating with production and engineering departments for internal and external requirements.
Responsible for following rules and procedures as well as react and report dangerous incidents, dangerous behaviour and dangerous situations.
Any other duties onshore as requested by management
Requirements
Relevant qualification or long-term experience as electrician or automation mechanic
Preferential 4-5 years relevant experience working in a similar position
Experience in building/upgrading of EX steering systems
Experience/knowledge of DOS operative systems, PLS programming, PC Hardware
Experience in Hydraulic Systems and Pressure calibration equipment
Offshore experience with main focus on EX- classified equipment
