Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Total Parenteral Nutrition Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care and demonstrate a thorough understanding of anatomy. This role is vital in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients, as well as supporting the medical staff in delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities

Patient is an older women. Currently in a Hospital on a private ward. She was admitted into hospital with a small bowel obstruction over 3wks ago, currently been fighting ovarian cancer for the last 4 years. She is nil by mouth, NG feeds and TPN over night, starting at around 7pm. looking to be discharged home into the Ealing area. For our nurse to come in the evening, set up the TPN and leave to let it run overnight, then return in the morning and disconnect the machine and provide personal care and assistance maybe max 2hrs in the morning She currently doesn't require additional support through out the day and night, but may require support when she is EOL.
