Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver / Guide. The guiding role is a small part of the role, and no guiding experience is required; however you do need to be confident with speaking with a group for 30 minutes, with an interest in English history. All training material will be provided.

You must have a valid CPC + D1 (or D) compatible license for a 16 seater minibus.

Days Required

Thursday - Sunday

Vehicle Depot is located in Putney, you need to be there for 7am, returning back at 6:30pm. Route will be London to Oxford or similar route.

Term Of Contract

The contract is until February 2026, with potential to extend into a longer-term role.

Responsibilities

Drive clients to their destinations in a safe and timely manner. Maintain vehicles by conducting regular inspections, ensuring cleanliness, and performing minor repairs as needed. Provide light external and internal cleaning. Communicate with clients regarding pick-up times, routes, and any changes in schedule. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a high standard of safety. Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional at all times.

Qualifications

Valid driving licence to entitle you to drive a 16 seater minibus (D1 or D). You must have a CPC You must have a clean driving record over the last 5 years. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Previous experience in commercial driving is advantageous but not essential. A professional attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
