AES offers a variety of services; from academic and logistical support for semester and short term programmes as well as accommodation and study centre venues.
The Role
The Operations Team Leader plays a key role in supporting the Educational Programmes Manager in the day-to-day running of the department. This role oversees the planning, execution, and supervision of educational programmes while ensuring seamless communication with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. The successful candidate will also contribute to strategic development and assist with cross-departmental operations when needed.
Responsibilities
Programme Operations:
Assist the Educational Programmes Manager in maintaining high standards across all educational programmes.
Supervise the delivery of programmes, including itineraries, logistics, invoicing, and payments.
Produce weekly financial and operational reports for the Head of Department with aid from CRM system Tour Plan.
Ensure all group itineraries are accurately planned and executed.
Fluid point of contact for clients and suppliers on a regular basis.
Maintain effective communication across internal departments.
Be available on-call when groups are in-house to ensure service quality and support.
Programme Development:
Contribute to the creative planning of educational programmes.
Proactively identify new business opportunities and contribute to departmental growth.
Collaborate with other departments to support company-wide initiatives as needed (hybrid role).
Site Visits & Academic Engagement:
Support the development and implementation of academic site visits in collaboration with the Educational Programmes Manager.
Organise and confirm academic site visits and guest lectures.
Liaise with home campuses and partner organisations to align visits with academic objectives.
Conduct post-visit follow-ups and maintain detailed records.
Build and maintain a comprehensive database of academic site visits.
Expand the site visit portfolio through research and collaboration with the Internships Department.
Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, ideally within education or international business.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong organisational and administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Self-motivated, dynamic, and enthusiastic with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
