We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various design and analysis tools. As a Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems, ensuring that all components function seamlessly together. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our projects' success and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Assemble and fit mechanical components according to specifications and schematics. Utilise CAD software to create and modify designs as needed. Conduct system design and integration tasks, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. Collaborate with engineers to refine designs using tools such as MATLAB and Simulink. Maintain accurate documentation of processes, modifications, and repairs. Operate LabView for testing and data acquisition purposes. Work with logic controllers to ensure proper functionality of systems. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within the engineering or manufacturing sector. Proficiency in using SolidWorks for 3D modelling and design tasks. Familiarity with electrical schematics and mechanical assembly techniques is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform complex problem-solving tasks. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
