What's the role?




SMS are currently looking for a TPI Account Executive to join their growing and dynamic Account Management function. This role is responsible for developing trusting relationships with TPIs and providing support to the Business Development and Account Management functions. It involves understanding the specific needs and requirements of the TPIs and to support the Account Management function with performance against agreed service level agreements. In this role, you will be liaising with internal departments to ensure customer needs are fulfilled and work alongside stakeholders within the business to develop an improvement plan. The successful candidate will communicate regularly and clearly to all relevant parties both internally and externally and ensure a thorough understanding of the commercial/contractual requirements of each customer.


This role aims to enhance service delivery to Third Party Intermediaries (TPIs), improve communication and reporting, and drive business growth through strategic relationship management and targeted service improvements.


This role is offered on a hybrid working basis (2 days in the office and 3 days at home typically), and the working hours are 40 hours per week. The shift pattern is 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.






Key Responsibilities:




Some of the key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:


Escalate any internal performance issues to the Key Account Director / Manager for resolution if required. Participate in meetings as and when required with customers and internal stakeholders. Support the Account Management function in relation to customer communication internally and externally. Ensure key communications are cascaded and understood both internally and externally. Document all interactions on internal and external meetings and ensure all minutes/actions are cascaded. Support the Account Management function in regards tracking outstanding actions until completion. Provide updated reporting as and when required on customer performance to the Key Account Director / Manager. Support the Account Management function in relation to the submission of any new business tenders. Support the Account Management function in relation to the mobilisation of any new contracts won.

Contract experience and a history of managing relationships with key clients. Knowledge with root cause analysis and be able to identify opportunities for improvement. The ability to work under pressure to deliver within tight deadlines and manage your own workload. The ability to build and maintain customer relationships to ensure customers are delighted and promote future growth opportunities.
