Job Overview

We are seeking someone to help with our summer workload mainly carting in fresh brassica crops from field to our cold stores and packhouse, within a 5 mile radius of our base near Coupar Angus.

Responsibilities

Operate tractors and other machinery for tasks such are carting produce from the field to cold stores, helping irrigation and general farm work. Field logistics, Planning out your day liaising with harvesting teams on scheduling pick up of produce and ensuring correct quantities of full and empty boxes are moved to desired locations. Utilise machinery ie, telehandlers, tractors and industrial forklifts. Maintain equipment by conducting regular services and inspections. Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and in yard environments.

Requirements

Proven experience in operating tractors, telehandlers and industrial forklifts. Positive attitude to work as part of a small team. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately key for efficient handling of crop and safe operation. A valid driving licence is essential, training provided to the correct candidate. A proactive attitude towards safety regulations and best practices in transportation logistics.
