Tractor/Excavator Driver
Due to continued expansion Skips R Us Ltd need to hire a tractor/excavator operator within their land improvement division.
Job Type - Full Time/Permanent
Hours - 40 hours per week
Salary - 13.50 to 17 per hour depending on experience
/ Role
This role will involve the haulage of Wrap Quality Protocol material from our licensed site to a local sites where the material is used for land raising and improvement.
The main duties of the role are as follows:
Operation of a tractor and dump trailer, or if qualified a HGV tipper lorry. Use of excavator to level material and install drainage where required . Other tractor duties on the main site as required. Carry out pre-use checks on mobile plant and report any damage/faults to manager. Grease mobile plant as per maintenance schedule.
Adhering to all Health and Safety compliance policies and procedures in place.
Essential Criteria:
Experience of operating a tractor and dump trailer
Experience of operating a 360 excavator or a similar size is essential
Flexible for occasional Saturday/weekend work
Attention to detail and a positive and 'can-do' attitude is a must.
Administrative duties experience.
Flexible for occasional Saturday/weekend work
Desirable Criteria:
HGV licence
Operating certificates or willing to take the training on the job.
