We're looking for a
Trade Compliance
Analyst
to join our team in Denham, focusing on
commodity code classification, tariffs, and customs compliance
within an engineering environment.
The Role
You'll analyse technical and engineering data to assign accurate
UK trade and commodity codes
, ensuring compliance with
HMRC Trade Tariff regulations
. Working with engineering, trade compliance, and export logistics teams, you'll help maintain and align
master data across SAP and Teamcenter
, driving data quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Classify goods and materials accurately using engineering data.
Liaise with engineering teams to support correct customs classification.
Maintain and validate master data across SAP and Teamcenter.
Monitor regulatory changes and support compliance and audits.
Contribute to data quality improvements and system enhancements.
About You
Experience in
customs compliance
, especially
classification and tariffs.
Advanced
Exce
l skills for large datasets and complex formulas.
Understanding of
master data management
.
Able to
read engineering drawings
(or willing to learn).
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
: Experience in engineering/aerospace, NVQ in Mechanical Engineering, and familiarity with SAP, Teamcenter, or SAP GTS.
