Exciting new opportunity not to be missed! Manningham Concrete is currently looking for a Trade Counter Sales Assistant for our successful builders merchant in Bradford (BD8 9RY).

Since our formation in 1963, Manningham Concrete has developed from a single branch to be the largest independent Builders Merchants in Bradford. We currently operate four depots around Bradford with a forward-thinking culture to expand within the industry.

The company is looking for a Trade Counter Sales Assistant for our Cemetery Road (BD8 9RY) Depot to join the sales team. You will join an existing sales team, and come under the direction of the Branch manager. We offer a competitive basic salary, Incentivised overtime plus a lucrative bonus based on results which will be discussed at interview.

Your key responsibilities as a Trade Counter Sales Assistant include:

Assisting in processing sales and serving customers Must be able to grasp our computer system to ensure the correct building products are processed on the system. Advise customers of products and general understanding of building products Liaise with customers both over the phone and in person, taking orders, resolving issues and offering product advice. Must have a reasonable level of IT knowledge Restocking products, maintaining stock levels and carrying out stock checks for audits Liaise with Yard Staff on a daily basis. To fit this Sales Assistant Role you will need:

Great customer service and strong communication skills Have general product knowledge of timber and building materials Experience working within the building industry preferred but not essential Forklift licence is preferred but not essential Computer Literate Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
