About the Role:
As a
Trade Counter Assistant
, you'll be the face of the store, offering expert advice, processing transactions, and ensuring everything runs smoothly at the trade counter. You'll play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting our customers with the products and advice they need to get the job done.

Requirements:
Full-time role
, Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, plus alternate Saturdays 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
A passion for
excellent customer service
- we want someone who truly enjoys helping customers and making them feel valued.
Knowledge of hardware and building materials
is a plus, but most importantly, we're looking for someone with a
can-do attitude

Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional approach.
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
Assist with deliveries in and out of the store.
Handle telephone inquiries, providing clear and effective communication to customers and colleagues.
Help with ordering goods, stock management and replenishing the shelves.
Provide expert advice to customers on building supplies and hardware products.
Be a key player in our regular stock counts and contribute to the store's smooth operations.
