Overview

We are seeking a Counter Sales Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for providing exceptional customer service, in addition to being highly organised. You will be given the ability to grow with the company, with the aim to move into more Leadership roles.

Salary

35,000 to 40,000 (based on experience)

Responsibilities

- Engage with customers in a professional and friendly manner

- Assist customers in finding products and making purchase decisions

- Growing sales through following up with quotes and new customer leads

- Maintaining strong relationships and communication with active customers

- Planning delivery routes and stock runs from both depots

- Upsell additional products to customers where appropriate

- Process transactions accurately and efficiently

- Maintain a clean and organised sales area

- Answer phone inquiries with courtesy and professionalism

- Working collaboratively with team members to achieve overall sales goals

Key Experience & Requirements

- Previous experience with building materials

- Ability to communicate effectively in English

- Strong numerical skills for basic maths calculations

- Excellent phone etiquette and time management skills

- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are advantageous

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet to address customer needs or challenges

- Prior experience in sales or customer service roles is desirable

- Organisational skills to manage sales inventory and deliveries efficiently

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 8am to 6pm

Saturday: 8am to 12pm
